Serena and I went and had a detect on a private permission to see what we could find for the owner. This property has an old hotel from the mid 1800s and has a phenomonal amout of history to it. Along with the hotel there was a butcher, a dairy, post office and telegraph, part of a now long gone railway, old camps, a rail station and siding and an old rail bridge. Gorgeous country and the old hotel is a sight to see. We found a few bits of interest but have just begun to scratch the surface. There is so many signals and 150 acres to cover so we will be going back to this one a few times I would say. Thank you very much to the owner and her partner for the hospitality and allowing us to explore this wonderful location. New friends made and a fantastic day out.
